VECTOR'S™ WARRANTY CONDITIONS

✅ 27 MONTHS TOTAL WARRANTY

When you purchase a VECTOR™ electric bicycle from us, you receive:

  • 24 months statutory warranty in accordance with EU consumer law, and

  • an additional 3-month dealer warranty provided by VECTOR™.

➡ This results in a total warranty period of 27 months on the complete bicycle.

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not limit or replace them.


🛠 WARRANTY COVERAGE

The warranty covers the entire bicycle and its components against:

  • manufacturing defects,

  • material defects,

  • assembly-related defects.

VECTOR™ will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective parts covered by the warranty.

The warranty applies only to bicycles:

  • purchased from VECTOR™ or an official VECTOR™ dealer, and

  • used in accordance with the user manual and intended purpose.


🚫 EXCLUSIONS

The warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear (e.g. brake pads, bearings, seals, oils),

  • damage caused by accidents, crashes or external impact,

  • improper use, neglect or failure to follow the user manual,

  • unauthorized modifications or non-original parts,

  • use in competitions, stunt riding, rental programs or extreme riding,

  • cosmetic damage (paint, coatings, surface finish),

  • damage caused by improper maintenance or storage.


🔋 BATTERY – IMPORTANT HANDLING INFORMATION

Lithium-ion batteries require proper handling.

Warranty coverage may be excluded if:

  • the battery is charged below 0°C (32°F),

  • the battery is not charged at least once per month during storage,

  • handling or storage instructions from the manual are not followed.

These exclusions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.


📦 WARRANTY CLAIMS

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact info@vectorebike.com

  2. Provide:

    • description of the issue,

    • dated photos and/or videos,

    • copy of the purchase invoice,

    • bike model and serial number (if available)

  3. We will first attempt to resolve the issue remotely

  4. If required, parts may be requested for inspection

If the defect is covered:

  • repair or replacement will be provided,

  • return shipping of repaired or replaced parts is covered by VECTOR™.

If not covered:

  • you will receive a repair or replacement offer before any costs arise.


🚚 SHIPPING & LABOUR

  • Shipping to VECTOR™ for inspection: customer’s responsibility

  • Return shipping for warranty-approved cases: covered by VECTOR™

  • Labour and installation costs are not included unless agreed in writing


⚖️ LEGAL NOTICE (SHOPIFY / EU)

This warranty is provided in addition to mandatory statutory consumer rights under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and applicable national laws.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your legal rights as a consumer.
