VECTOR'S™ WARRANTY CONDITIONS

(1) FRAME KITS

VECTOR'S™ frame kits are warranted for 24 months from original date of purchase. The cost of repairing/replacing custom paint is never included in frame warranty at any time.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to defects, malfunctions, or failures of frame kits subjected to abuse, misuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, improper assembly, alteration, modification, and accident or other improper use.
  • Any alterations to the original design shall void warranty coverage.
  • VECTOR™ explicitly exempts from coverage any damage on frames and bikes used for stunt riding, rental programs, observed trials and any similar extreme riding or events.
  • Incidental and consequential damages are also not covered.
  • All freight charges (including but not limited to import/export fees and taxes) for warranty inspection and/or service will be borne by the original owner, not including return shipment for products replaced/repaired under warranty conditions, which will be covered by VECTOR™

VECTOR'S™ products are subject to the terms of the limited warranty. This warranty applies only to the original registered owners (customers) of VECTOR'S™ products and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to VECTOR'S™ products purchased directly from VECTOR'S™

To obtain warranty service, the original registered owner must provide detailed info on the damage (dated pictures and descriptions explaining the damage and its cause) and bill of sale (invoice) directly to VECTOR™. All labour charges for warranty service are the responsibility of the customer. VECTOR™ shall repair or replace all parts that are found by VECTOR™ to be defective and are covered by the limited warranty. All freight charges for warranty service will be borne by the customer.

This is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. This is the only warranty made by VECTOR™ on its frame kits and there are no warranties which extend beyond the description here in. Any warranties that may be otherwise implied by law including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose are excluded.

(2) BIKE KITS

Are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a specified period (listed below) from date of purchase. Subject to terms and conditions. For more details see below.

i. Battery pack

Lithium batteries require care and some maintenance to maximize life expectancy. Abusing your battery will void your warranty. See below for details.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Warranty is void if battery is charged below 0°C (32 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Warranty is void if battery is not charged every month and/or other battery pack handling, storage, and use guidelines and recommendations from the manual are not followed.

VECTOR™ retains the right to repair or replace battery at the sole discretion of VECTOR™. In the event that battery is not repairable, the battery will be replaced.

For international customers (outside EU) battery warranty does not apply.

PLEASE NOTE: All Lithium batteries must be shipped in accordance with all local, state, federal, and international laws. Please note that batteries cannot be shipped via air unless all legal safety precautions are taken and regulations are followed. For more info contact your local air freight company.

ii. Frame

The VECTOR™ frame is warranted for 24 months from original date of purchase. The cost of repairing/replacing custom paint is never included in frame warranty at any time.

iii. Electric Motor

The electric motor is warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the electric motor to be returned to VECTOR™ customer is responsible for correct removal and shipment to VECTOR™. If there is any damage caused by improper removal, the warranty is void.

Overheating of the motor during riding is not warranty case. For more info about overheating read the manual.

iv. Electronics
The electronics components are warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the electric components to be returned to VECTOR™ customer is responsible for correct removal and shipment to VECTOR™. If there is any damage caused by improper removal, the warranty is void.

v. Brakes

Brakes are warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects. Normal wear of the brake pads is not covered. Warranty claims on components are made in accordance with component manufacturers guidelines.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the components are to be returned to VECTOR™. Customer is responsible for removal and shipment to VECTOR™.

vi. Suspension

Suspension units are warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects. Normal wear of the suspension, such as oil changes and leaking seals are not covered. Warranty claims on components are made in accordance with component manufacturers guidelines.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the components are to be returned to VECTOR™. Customer is responsible for removal and shipment to VECTOR™.

vii. Crankset

The crankset is warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects.

Warranty claims on crankset components are made in accordance with component manufacturers guidelines.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the components are to be returned to VECTOR™. Customer is responsible for removal and shipment to VECTOR™.

  • VECTOR™ explicitly exempts from coverage any damage on bikes used for stunt riding, rental programs, observed trials and any similar extreme riding or events.
  • Incidental and consequential damages are also not covered.
  • All freight charges (including but not limited to import/export fees and taxes) for warranty inspection and/or service will be borne by the original owner, not including return shipment for products replaced/repaired under warranty conditions, which will be covered by VECTOR™.
  • Warranty may be voided if normal maintenance procedures are not followed.

Your bike kit is subject to the terms of the limited warranty. This warranty applies only to the original registered owner of a bike kit and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to bike kit purchased directly from and assembled by VECTOR™ or official VECTOR’S™ dealer.

PLEASE NOTE:

To obtain warranty service, the original owner must provide:

  • Detailed info on the damage (dated pictures and video, descriptions explaining the damage and its cause),
  • Invoice of sale directly to VECTOR™ via email and/or post.

 

(3) OTHER PRODUCTS

(4) WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE:

To submit a warranty claim, following steps must be taken:

1. The customer must provide detailed info on the issue via email to: info@vectorebike.com in the following form:

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  • Name and Family Name/ Firm of the bike kit’s owner
  • Full Bike Model
  • Invoice copy
  • Description of the issue
  • Date of occurrence of the issue

2. Based on customer's issue description the Vector team will establish if the issue can be resolved at a distance (via email and/or phone);

3. If the issue cannot be resolved by the customer based on Vector detailed instructions, the customer will provide further info as directed by Vector (for example serial number of the issued part etc.);

4. Vector team will invite the customer to send the supposedly damaged part for inspection;

5. Vector team will inspect the returned part in a period of max. 8 weeks and send conclusion report back to sender via email or mail.

PLEASE NOTE:

VECTOR™ shall repair all parts that are found by VECTOR™ to be defective and covered by the limited warranty. All freight charges for warranty inspection and/or service will be borne by the customer, not including return shipment for products replaced/repaired under warranty conditions, which will be covered by VECTOR™.

6. If the product in question (or part thereof) is found faulty in terms covered by this limited warranty, VECTOR™ will provide repaired/replacement product (or part thereof). VECTOR™ will also cover the cost of return shipping to bike kit’s owner.

7. If the product (or part thereof) in question is found faulty by reasons not covered by this limited warranty, the customer will be informed of such. If repair/replacement is possible the customer owner will be given the choice to purchase replacement parts and/or order a repair. All labour charges, replacement part costs and shipping cost (including possible import/export charges) are the responsibility of the customer.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All labour charges, replacement parts and/or repairs that are not covered by warranty are the responsibility of the customer.
  • This is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. Any and all other remedies and damages that may otherwise be applicable are excluded including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages or punitive damages.
  • This is the only warranty made by VECTOR™ on its products and there are no warranties which extend beyond the description herein. Any warranties that may be otherwise implied by law including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose are excluded.

 

(5) DAMAGED PRODUCTS

If you have received a damaged parcel or if the products inside are damaged in any way, please provide detailed photos depicting the damaged package and/or damaged products and email them to info@vectorebike.com as soon as possible.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Damaged products may have to be returned to VECTOR™. Thus, please do not use products if they (or their package) appear damaged in any way, before receiving feedback from VECTOR™ on the issue. Used products cannot be replaced or reimbursed on the grounds of being damaged.
