The Vector Vortex is designed for off-road riding in mountains, forest or anywhere where other bikes will suffer from overheating. The bike was tested with 150kg load in extreme conditions and proved it can overtake any terrain! Due to fixation of the motor on the swingarm bike has perfect chain tension no matter if rear suspension is loaded or not! Due to this design we managed to make bike completely silent which is almost impossible for mid drive models!

Due to gearing system bike has 2x times torque the Typhoon model has under the same power output! This is critical in situation where you cannot ride fast but need plenty of torque to climb or accelerate. 

Range

On a lower speed Vortex has better efficiency due to higher motor rotation curve. That leads to less heat loss and higher range on the same battery capacity in comparison to direct drive models!

Regenerative Braking

Vortex has direct chain connection between motor and rear wheel, this means bike can benefit from regenerative braking and react to rider command instantaneously due to chain tension is present all the time. Bike is also equipped with Double calipers front braking system for extreme braking performance and 4 piston caliper hydraulic brake at rear wheel for situation when you don't have stable tension between tyres and ride surface!

Charge 

Range of travel is no more an issue. The Vector can be re-charged from 0 to 100 percent in 60 minutes – from a standard 110V / 220V outlet.

Battery-pack

 A battery consists of 300 separate Li-Ion Panasonic 18650 PF cells, providing the best weight/capacity/discharge current ratio. Same cells Tesla uses for their S and X models! With a weight of only 14.9kg/34lbs it is providing 3 kWh of energy! 

The battery can handle more than 600 charging that in average takes 3-4 years. The battery can be replaced by the new one. The BMS system keeps tracking every cell and checks voltage, current and temperature. BMS protects battery from overcharging, overdischarging, short cirquits, overheating, and do it 4 times per second! Each battery goes through series of qualitative tests and is checked for overcharging/discharging protection as well as vibration testing before it will be installed on the bike!

The frame was constructed with 3x times load potential to make sure it can go through the hardest terrain you can imagine. 

The chassis and rear swingarm are made out of high-grade, high-tensile steel. All stressed-parts are FEM analyzed and stress-tested on benches. Frame is well protected against the water, so rain or riding in wet conditions will not stop you.
